Cascadian Sky glows soft over a darkening land. A great luminous cloud drifts through a lavender evening sky, its edges catching warm light, while below the trees and fields settle into blue shadow. Underpainted in black and white oil and then colorized with acrylic, it holds a gentle, layered depth ... light seeming to rise from within the paint.

It is a painting about the tender hour, the Cascadian light going soft at the end of the day. Somewhere quiet to rest your eyes.
